A giant 480 TB

NCHPC server system has a new 480 TB disk system added to the previous one totaling 560 TB. The disk system, which is to be used with SFS parallel file system software, has a name called Akdeniz.

The new storage system has 122 disk series each compromising 14 blocks of 500 GB disks and has 34 servers using RAID 6 technology. Using SFS parallel file system software the read and write speed performance is now much higher than that of normal disk technology.

HP Openview

HP's Openview software, which included modules for monitoring and management of environmental units among others, will be operational in few days. Current it is under testing. With these tools, one can monitor and manage the network, performance of various systems, their maintenance states, etc. With these new tools, we are aiming at improving our service quality.
